Lilibai Studio — Shipping Policy
1. Processing time
All items are handmade or hand-finished in Toronto.

In-stock / ready-to-ship items: typically processed and shipped within 3–7 business days.

Custom / commissioned pieces: please allow 10–14 business days (or as quoted at purchase) for creation + processing.
Business days = Monday–Friday, excluding Canadian public holidays. Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day.
2. Shipping destinations & estimated delivery times
Delivery times below are estimates from shipment date and can vary by carrier and destination.

Canada (Domestic): 2–7 business days (standard). Expedited options usually 1–3 business days.

United States: 3–14 business days (standard). Expedited options usually 3–7 business days.

International (Rest of world): 10–30 business days, depending on country and customs processing. Expedited international services may be available at higher cost.
3. Shipping rates
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on package weight, dimensions, destination and selected service level. We offer standard and expedited shipping options when available. For large or multiple-item orders we may contact you with a custom shipping quote.
4. Tracking & signature
A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships.
For high-value orders we may require a signature upon delivery — this will be noted at checkout or in your shipping confirmation.
5. Customs, duties & taxes (International orders)
For shipments outside Canada, recipients are responsible for any customs duties, taxes, or clearance fees levied by their country. Lilibai Studio is not responsible for delays or charges caused by customs processing. Please check your local regulations before ordering.
6. Lost, stolen or damaged shipments

Damaged on arrival: If your package arrives damaged, please keep all packaging and take clear photos of the damaged item and packaging, then email us at hello@lilibaistudio.com within 7 days of delivery. We will review and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or refund.

Lost or not delivered: If tracking shows delivered but you did not receive the package, first check with neighbours and your local post office. If still missing, contact us at hello@lilibaistudio.com and we’ll open an investigation with the carrier. Claims for lost packages must be filed within the carrier’s allowed timeframe.
7. Delivery delays
Carrier delays may occur due to weather, high seasonal volumes (e.g., holidays), or customs processing. We will notify you if we become aware of significant delays. Expedited shipping does not guarantee delivery time in the event of customs holds or force majeure events.
8. Local pickup (Toronto)
Local pickup may be available by appointment. Choose the “Local Pickup” option at checkout if offered. Orders held for pickup must be collected within 14 days unless otherwise arranged.
9. Packaging & sustainability
We use protective but minimal packaging to keep your items safe while reducing waste. If you prefer gift wrapping or special packaging, contact us before purchase; additional fees may apply.
10. Changes & cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at hello@lilibaistudio.com. We will do our best to accommodate changes prior to shipping. Once an order has shipped, changes are handled according to carrier policies.
